Lalibela was in fact an exceptional king, who dreamt of building a second Jerusalem in Ethiopia. Therefore he reigned over Roha at the end of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century and he built over there 11 unique monolithic churches, which are also known as the 8th wonder of the world… In this charming restaurant, painted in warm colours, all sorts of African gadgets brighten up the wonderful setting. Amongst them, the lovely paintings and very unique self-made lampshades are immediate eye-catchers! You are always given a warm welcome in this superb restaurant where you can enjoy typical Ethiopian dishes, prepared with special and mysterious spices and ingredients.
